Student council members recently provided a true community service to the Ronald McDonald House on Chestnut Street in Philadelphia, PA.
The Ronald McDonald House serves families whose children are receiving treatment at the nearby Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) or St. Christopher's Hospital.
Local Burlington merchant, Mattson's Market, donated 100 eggs and sausages. The Liviakis Family donated and cooked the bacon. Student council members prepared and served breakfast food to more than 40 families. Also, students cleaned the kitchen and vacuumed play areas.
Students were able to make a difference while learning about themselves.
