A note to 7th and 8th grade ILA students from Mrs.
Blasewitz:
Remember that you are responsible for your biography book
report this month. Both 7th and 8th grade students should
have completed the reading of their books by now (January
20th) and be involved in creating the cover, pages and
illustrations of the report itself. You are writing your
book report in ILA class, however illustrations may be
created at home. The entire project should be completed
and submitted by Friday, February 5th.
The time is passing very quickly. Please see Mrs.
Blasewitz if you are unable to adhere to the book report
completion schedule. Adjustments may be made with
parent/teacher approval, especially if you have been ill
during the time since Christmas. If you have a problem,
please do not wait until the day before the report is due
to speak to the teacher.
A gentle reminder about spelling and vocabulary tests:
A spelling test is given at the end of the first week
that we study a new vocabulary unit.
A vocabulary test is given at the end of the second week
of working with a vocabulary unit.
